Today my beloved husband and our children's father died at 11:13 am. Our grief is profound, our love and committment to each other - strong.
How can such a natural part of life's cycle feel so abnormal, so uniquely ours? Your outpouring of love and kindess is beyond measure - we all thank you.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Rosary Parish in Edmonds, Saturday, August 21st at 11 am.
I will continue to walk for now my life depends on it. It might just be a little slower and a whole lot sadder.

Patti: That is so amazing that that "QUOTE" was read at your wedding! God does speak to us in amazing ways! I could have picked "Rumi"--who is also a favorite of mine.
I will always be grateful for "believing" --in a love thats so grand,we always believed--"we'd ride the waves"!! God Bless!

Oh, Patrice, I am a big fan of Kahlil Gibran. This very passage was read at our wedding - can you believe it. I'd love to include it at some point - thank you.

Patti: I don't want to clutter your "personal writing space",but Patti: If, you wish, please post an amazing piece from Kahlil Gibran,The Prophet,1923--,(Mimis' favorite philosopher)!
You were born together, and together you shall be forevermore.
You shall be together when the white wings of death scatter your days.
Aye,you shall be together even in the silent memory of God.
But let there be space in your togetherness, and let the winds of the heavens dance between you........(Patrice Marie Grace)

Dear Patti: I was thinking of Love, and "NOTES",and my good friend read to me a quote from an old song in a book, she was reading on love:"I remember well, the day we wed,I can see the picture in my head,I still believe the words we said-- forever will ring true. Love is certain, love is kind, love is yours, and love is mine--But it isn't something that we find,it's something that we do."!! Real love is an amazing talent"....if it is practiced ----,and ----God Bless Us All!Patrice Marie Grace

Dear Patti: I stumbled upon a lovely, lovely family while looking up a name similar to my own. My heart goes out to the depth of your love, and value for your family, and late husband. I am experiencing similar sadness and loss,at this time of my life as well! May God Bless us all,and your kind and lovely writing ability --touching so many in so many ways. As long as we are alive on this earth,we can share each others lives, and love! Be Well, and keep writing your notes!

Patti,
As you know I am new to this facebook stuff, but I am so glad I read your comments today. I am so sorry to hear about Reli's passing. My love goes out to you and your entire family as you adjust to life without his physical presence.
The photo of all your hands entwined says it all. How lucky Reli was to have all of you with him to help him on his way.
Please know I am thinking of you with so much affection.

Our deepest condolences on the passing of your husband and father. Dr. Kajlich, a fine anesthesiologist, was on our Active medical staff from May 1974 until he retired and became an Emeritus staff member in 1997. He will be greatly missed by those who have had the honor to know and work with him at Stevens Hospital.
We will be sure to forward information regarding your husband's memorial service so that his colleagues can say their goodbyes and pay their respects to their colleague and friend.
